CV
Ruchika Wason Singh is a visual artist, art educator and an independent researcher based in Delhi, India. She holds degrees in B.F.A.,Painting (1997) and M.F.A.,Painting,(1999) from College of Art, New Delhi. In 2008 she received Ph.D from University of Delhi supported by the U.G.C. Junior Research Fellowship (2001-2006). In 2016, Ruchika founded A.M.M.A.A. -The Archive for Mapping Mother Artists in Asia, a project fostering the mapping , visibility and mobility of mothers / artists of Asian origin through documentation, workshops and artist residency programs. Ruchika has been creating and exhibiting in the field of art since 1999.

Ruchika held teaching positions as a visiting faculty at College of Art (at different intervals) between 2000-2010; as Lecturer (Department of Painting) 2010-2011 & as an Associate Professor (Department of Painting) 2012-2017. She is a Visiting Professor at Ashoka University,Sonipat. She is represented by Art Centrix Space, New Delhi. Ruchika lives and works in Delhi.
